People Who Made a Difference: Volume 1

These are little known stories of people who made a difference. Some made a difference in the world, others made a difference in their part of the world.

2. Come With Me and Be Free: Iqbal Masih was a 12 year old human rights activist who led thousands of children to freedom. This story won a 2010 Storytelling World Honor Award in the category: Stories for Pre-Adolescent Listeners.
   

3. Jewish Rosary Beads: Lt. Col. Frances M. Liberty always spoke the truth while serving as a US Army nurse during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

4. Being on the Outside: Starting on the outside, Jackie Robinson and Wendell Smith worked extremely hard to prove that they belonged on the inside.

5. In the Face of Evil: This is the story of how the people of Oklahoma City and rescuers from the US responded to the bombing of their Federal Building.

Suitable for adults as well as children 12 and older.
